Sports club members will be able to skate in the big arena as Olvi Areena, home of KalPa plays the role for the venue.

KalPa’s skating coach Sami Kaartinen guides us to the secrets of skating techniques. Practice does not require hockey skills. A happy and curious mind is enough.

You need clothes suitable for skating as well as your own skates (hockey or figure skates). Helmets can be borrowed from the hall or you can bring your own. No other hockey equipment is required.

Health policy

Our safety policy for live events is that you are welcome to join if you are healthy and you have two vaccinations or you have suffered a COVID-19.

Please note that Novapolis and our sport partners follows the situation, health restrictions and regulations for Northern Savonia due COVID-19. Events may therefore be subject to change, may need to be postponed and may require a presentation of a COVID-19 passport from attendants. Our events are always held by following the restrictions and regulations in at the time.

Cancellation

If you are prevented from coming, please cancel your booking as soon as possible, so that we can get someone to take your place. The Friday before the sports day is the last day of cancellation. You can also activate your coworkers if you are unable to attend. We will charge the full fee for booking not cancelled on time.
